Hi Everyone, Greetings from Lyon, France! I have not forgotten all of you.

Recently I visited Yihan in Freiburg (Germany). We had a wonderful time drinking fantastic german beer from the local brewery, eating delicious german food like Schnitzel (German pork chop), kartoffelsalat (potato salad), grilled Bratwurst (sausage) and many more, visiting old monuments on the mountain, and playing in the playground…

We also spent some time visiting electric generators which tap on renewable energy sources. Freiburg is big on renewable energy and has several hydroelectric, solar, and biofuel electric generators (see picture), plus companies and research labs on solar energy.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my trip in Freiburg. I really enjoyed the german cuisine, liked the german courtesy and warmness, their clean cities and their culture of having big festivals.  And of course the warm hospitality of Yihan who allowed me to stay in his room and paid for ALL my expenses in Freiburg. Yihan will be staying with me in March and I am looking forward to treat him with the same amount of hospitality!
