Voices for Hospice

Dear Volunteers,

Below is an interesting volunteering opportunity with HCA Hospice Care. Do check it out, and let Maurice or me know if you’re interested.

Every 2 years all the hospices come together to fundraise and to raise awareness for hospice and palliative care in Singapore as well as around the world.  This year it will be on Saturday, 8 October 2011.  This event is known as Voices for Hospice.  I have provided a link here so that you can see more details on this global celebration:

Here in Singapore we will be celebrating with a concert that is free for all and will be held at ITE Simei.   The guest of honour is Dr Amy Khor.

We are requesting for volunteers to help with this event.  Details below:

Time – 5 to 9pm and to help with directing and ushering guests to their seats in the auditorium

Venue – ITE Simei

Dress code – black over black (all black be it T-shirt, pants or dress)

It is a good cause and we hope you can help us and also celebrate with us by enjoying the concert too.
